Dataset
Any organization user who has the Admin, Editor, or Reviewer role can create a dataset. There are three types of datasets that you can create:
- Upload a dataset from a local Excel or PDF file
- Connect to a data location such as a database, data warehouse, or filesystem. This option allows you to create datasets from your existing data sources.
- Combine two or more datasets. This option allows you to combine data from two or more datasets into a single dataset.
Create a Dataset
- Click on the + button from the left navigation menu and select one of the three options.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to create your dataset.
- Once you have created your dataset, you can give it a name, description, and image.
- Click on the Save button to create your dataset.
- You can now use the dataset to create campaigns and curate data sharing rules.
Here are some tips for creating datasets:
- Give your datasets descriptive names so that you can find them later.
- Use the description field to provide additional information about your dataset, such as the data source and the data schema.
- If you are creating a dataset from a local file, make sure that the file is in a supported format.
- If you are connecting to a data location, make sure that you have the necessary credentials.
- If you are aggregating two or more datasets, make sure they have the same schema.
By following these tips, you can create datasets that are easy to use and manage.
View Datasets
When you login to the One Creation platform, you will see a list of all the datasets that you have created or that you have permission to view.
Each dataset is represented by a square with:
- dataset name
- dataset's owner organization
- image
To view the contents of a dataset, click on the dataset square. You will see a list of all the campaigns and data sharing rules associated with that dataset.
