Segment
By integrating One Creation with Segment, any preference data collected through your One Creation data request campaigns automatically flows into Segment in real time.
One Creation creates, updates, and expires preference data associated with individuals who responded to the One Creation campaign. The preference data appears in Segment Unify as custom traits under the corresponding profile.
Each profile update comes with an event. One Creation sends three types of events to Segment:
Event Name | Description |
---|---|
Submitted Preferences | User responded to a data request campaign |
Expired Data | Data associated with a campaign has expired |
Extended Preferences | User agrees to extending the data associated with a campaign |
- When a user responds to an One Creation data request campaign, One Creation sends the user's response to Segment as custom traits. Simultaneously, One Creation records a Submitted Preferences event.
- When a user agrees to extend data usage through an One Creation extension campaign, One Creation updates the user's extended traits with the latest values. In addition, One Creation records an Extended Preferences event.
- When data associated with a campaign expires, One Creation updates traits with value Expired and records an Expired Data event.
